found another spot, right at the oil filter is an allen head plug. If you take the filter off the car you can see it get's fed from the clean oil, this is probably where the optional factory gauge hooks up close to the tensioner, but you can get it away from there. This is where I finally ended up hooking into. I would post some pics, but I keep leaving my camera in my dads garage.

yeah, i think ill use that for the oil feed for the turbo, but leave gauges where they are

Hey I'm looking for info on this piggy ! SMT6 looks like something perfect to control fuel map and timing...

I read all that I can found here and their website http://www.perfectpower.com/products/smt6.asp

Steve... if you really want to have a go with the Ultimate (which we know does not work on our cars) buy it local as the pricing is very good but I am going to go with the majority on this buy the Haltech the interceptor will work to a point on a boosted car but not as good as say the E6 or the E8... if you are budget conscience then go the E6 it is slightly cheaper and will do a fantastic job you will not be dissapointed... and to connect the Haltech it is only 4 wires

Or use the SMT-6 connect 7 wires and you have ignition and fuel + lots of stuff like temperature correction, and shift light outputs + its easy to set up

couldn't find one last night. well, I did find one, but it was part of a kit someone was selling off their car. have you seen the smt7 on there at all man?
