I Would go custom, no affence to RRM i have bought alot of there products and they are top notch and great customer service i enjoy doing business with them. I would say if you have the money to buy there kit then go for it they do great work. But for someone like me who did'nt at the time i coult my own T4 set up, the only thing out of my whole kit i bought was there turbo ecu and volt clamp which you will need, it all depends on your preference. Any questions just PM me man.

Also i read that you guys are worried about shops doign customwork. Well if you guys live in or near Pennsylvania the shop that did my custom set up is great. They are a small shop called boost performance PA, they jsut started a year or two ago but for not having done work on a Ralliart they sure helped me out and they did custom work and all the installation (turbo IC pipes, gauges and ecu and everything for just under $700. So if anyone is interested let me know if you live with in a few hours of philladelphia and i will talk to you about there shop.

IMO, if you don't mind waiting awhile, get a list of the parts you need/want, maybe just copy RRM's turbo kit, and keep an eye out them and buy them all used off people here. Saves ya from that heavy 4.5k price tag, you just gotta wait awhile and do some hunting for all the parts you need.

Also I know punkskalar is selling, maybe parting out, his RRM kit, so always check the for sale section to save yourself some money!!

yea definetly in total to build my kit i bought mostly used parts and the most expensive part i bought was from RRM (you must have this part by the way) i bought there split second turbo ecu, and 5th injector kit, and the volt clamp package. Those parts ran me about a G but other then that it prolly spent about 2,500 on the entire kit, granted i am only running 5 pounds of boost right now, (don't have a boost controller only set to waste gate spring) but when i will be running 9psi this summer it will be faster the rrm';s kit also (no affence to rrm) so anyone lookjing to make a kit, shoot me an e-mail if you have any questions and deffenetly keep your eye out for those used parts and as Joey1 says make a list. And if you live int he PA,NY, or NJ area the shop that custom made and installed alot of the things hardly charged me at all and did great work, i could give yout he name and the number if anyone was interested.

wrong, and the part you are referring to (fifth injector and hardware) is not the best method of providing sufficient fuel to your engine. I'm not knocking on your kit, I think it's great you got it up and running for yourself, I'm just stating the facts.

Dan is right, I much more preffer the 4 bigger injectors system. For safety reasons, and it's not more expensive. Also I heard that it doesn't deliver fuel evenly to all cylinders.

A fuel rail would be the most effective, but probably not the most convenient.

most effective you mean injectors in a fuel rail would be better than a fifth right? the most effective is stock injector replacement, second most would be to add four injectors in a dual rail setup, and after that the fifth injector (normally the cheapest and easiest option to tune)

yeah, same as nitrous. unless you can multi-port inject the fuel, whatever it is, you will always have an uneven distribution of fuel. how uneven is determined by many variables.

Thanks you Dan got what i was saying. MY main concern was in that post abotu the 5th injector was for someone to easily and cheaper then rrm's kit to biuld his own set up. And i know, know one was knocking my set up so no worries.

I don't know how much power you're planning on pushing, but you don't need to change the fuel rail. Hell, even the stock fuel pump is working great and I've got 8 psi on a T3T4.
