It is about 90% done (the reflash tune) I tore a hole in my cv boot and in the process of getting that fixed.

Is getting there just building all the infrastructure I dont have a time frame have to ask Hack but iam getting the impression it wont be long.

Its difficult for him to get all that work done he wants it to be as automated as possible plus finish the charger tune its alot of work.....

 

Will there be an automatic transmission application for this set-up?

Actually it was filmed on a Military base. There was an exercise that day and my buddy is a Sgt with the MP thus the closed road....

brent, how much did your clutch work cost approximately? i askied hackish and he couldn't remember...if i get a good tax return i'm either gonna buy a new one or have mine redone...thanks man

 

I am not sure it was done 3 years ago I will have to dig up the cost sheets I have. Keep in mind my cost will be very different from discounted retail. I think I got it at cost if I promote their work locally. Unless I was to get a new clutch and make the same deal I would no be able to get the same price as I did......basically it was a one shot deal.

 

Ah ok, I saw the speed limit sign and what looks like someone's garbage box on the side of the road... Really looked like a public street :P

 

it was a freezer i think...it is a public street that can be shut down my the Military when there is an exercise or a problem.

 

no big deal i was just wondering if it would just be easier to buy an aftermarket clutch, if the price difference wasn't too much...

 

Any updates? I was wondering if software will be provided with the kit? Im tempted to get the reflash when its available for the 06 but Im more tempted to just s/c. Ill be coming into a bit of money soon so hopefully this will be ready by summer.

 

there is a reflash for the 06...he let me try it out last time i went to see him, i'm going back do have it done permanently ASAP, i just sent hackish the email...
