RIPP Video?

Does anyone have any homemade video using the RIPP system other than the one youtube post of it being dyno'ed? I never hear word of the RIPP system and I'm considering.

Yep...they finished their testing with the RA. Ripp Mods are still selling the Ralliart SC kit (it adds to the RA 100whp...with that I could make more that 230whp on my Sportback and spank many local Hondas, XRS and even some stock EVOs and WRX)!

By the way it is on sale for $3,795.

Yea its a pretty nice kit. I didnt know the details sorry. But look at the youtube video. The thing screams. I just cant say no to a turbo, thats why i went that route. Plus, not to start a war, i think the numbers on the turbo kit are more impressive.

they are, but I am going to venture and say that you could easily see a 300whp supercharged RA if someone would put the time and money into it.

i am actually much more interested in supercharging my car, even now as I have the turbo kit ready to fab up. there is just no way to supercharge for the money I can spend

If you are wondering why I would sacrifice some power gains to go with a supercharger: I like to punch it from real low on the tach and surprise the **** out of people who try and mess with me, and I can't even imagine what the supercharger would accomplish. had some guy in a POS (well, he thought it was nice) domestic something or other stomp the pedal on me and four friends on the highway. I think he was trying to cut me off because I had my blinker on. I just floored it in fifth and got in front of him to exit the freeway, you should have seen his face. his car was like (upsized text >)ROAR and he was like because my car (stock exhaust at the time) was like purrrrrr.

i was looking at ripps site and i saw that they sell the meth kit separate, would you need the meth to properly run the SC or will it safely run non-intercooled?

You dont need the methkit. From what I understand, you can even run 89 octane, if you want. Probably depending on your boost.

The supercharger does not get as hot as the turbo system thats why it doesn't need a Intercooler However It will do well to have one.
Is does not have LAG
you can still use almost all your N/A mods

I believe After I finish extracting all the power I can from my engine THEN i might think about a Supercharger kit. The RIPP kit is an excellent quality and perhaps one of the most tested systems ever....

here we go. this debate again...

if u go for drag, u want top end power... TURBO

if u twist and turn on the auto x. u should get super charger... power at low rpm.

if u want a sexy blow off valve, and girls like the word "turbo" get the turbo kit...

if u want ur ralliart to sound like the rocket in the youtube video, with not-so-impressive tourque, than get the supercharger kit

.... i really dont wanna hear another turbo vs. supercharger argument again... its been done to many times...
