How hard is it to swap out the oem clutchline with the RRMs ?
I'm not much of a mechanic but if its easy I can do it.

Its pretty easy and straightfoward, but you need someone to help you so you can bleed the line.

B&M shifter

Mojambo,
How do you like that B&M shifter? Is it worth it? Do you have yours set for a 15% shorter throw or the 45%? The stock EVO type shifter feels pretty decent but a bit notchy for me. Does this kit help to smooth out the throw forward and back? I would really appreciate any feedback you could give me. I'm a newbie to the forum.

I am thinking of ordering S/S clutch line from RRM...Just a quick question..
Did anyone ever try to replace the restictor with just a Stainless line??
I have purchased Speed Source Evo upper s/s Line(from Master Cylinder)(I am positive it will work, If not i can return it)...And i'm thinking of just trying this before ordering?

Yeah, that's what we're talking about here. The RRM line replaces the restrictor. I've got that, and an upper line from Works to replace the upper rubber line.

I'm not sure the Evo part will fit on an RA.

What kind of brake fluid do you use to replace the lost fluid during bleeding?? DOT 3 or DOT4??? So the RRM clutchline is easier to install than the works?? I was going to purchase the RRM and it just replaces the hardline that has the restrictor in it. It doesnt replace the rubber line that goes into the slave cylinder, right?? If thats the case it should be easy.

Dot 3, and they were about equally easy. Make sure you use the right tools, though. One person posted about stripping one of the connections. Yes, the RRM line replaces the hard line and restrictor, not the rubber line.

The Works one replaces the upper line and is a lot harder than the restrictor replacement. They both accomplish seperate issues though.

RRM - replaces the restrictor which allows for quicker clutch engagement

Works - replaces the rubber line which increases pressure in the entire clutch line (since it is the weakest point in the clutch line), thus making a stiffer clutch pedal

Personally I like both, but as I've warned before, if you don't have patience have a shop do the Works line. It is really difficult to take off/on the banjo bolt because of its placement.

Replace restrictor with a regular s/s Hard line....(Not RRM's) just a s/s brake line instead. This may be something already tried...Never seen it in the search. It would save alot of $$$ if it works..
