don't worry about it

the ecu is confused.. the fronts were spinning way faster than the back.. so it assumed that the speed sensor is defective.. either reset the ecu or wait until it "learns" that it's not defective

next time don't spin your tires.. it's bad for the car and it won't get you anywhere

If the snow was deep enough, the wire could have been ripped off by the drift or when you got pulled out. If it doesn't go off, take a look, make sure everything is attached.

that was my first assumption that either a cable or something had jutted loose... but it went off asap this morning.

i highly doubt that the wire would have been ripped out.. you should see how it's run.. you will end up ripping a lot of other stuff off before you get to those wires

same thing will happen if you run your car on the dyno.. the ABS light will come on..

The same thing will happen when you put a car on the dyno... fronts are spinning backs are not when they take the car off the the dyno the Anti Lock light comes on - park car then start up again drive slowly for 30ft apply brakes gently light goes off.... you don't need to reset the ECU it should take care of itself and the light in no way affects the way the brakes work it it just a sign to say that it is or has worked... but in instances like the dyno it will hold in the ECU memory a bad code so at some time take the car to your local dealer and they will remove the bad code - the bad code will have no affect on your braking, ABS or EBD

It was raining real bad here over the weekend, and I got my light to come one by spinning my tires around a corner. It turned off by the next day.
