Spark plugs

I'm trying to find some hotter spark plugs. Can't seem to find ANY iridium ones for the 2.4 MIVEC. Anyone have a source? Thanks.

yeah.. stock is NGK Iridium. Onlything better is probably a denso plug. They have a smaller electrode its .04 mm for more or a dense consistant spark. However I seriously doubt that there will be any different from the NGK. Iridium seems to be the basic standard plug for coil on plug design.

Ha.. also I wouldn't complain about pricing. For the NGK plugs I sell them to a Jag dealer for 10.50 a plug and they turn around and sell think for 24 to 28 a pop. 11 to 14 is stardard pricing for the Iridium you should be able to find them for around 11 thought if you can find a NGK dealer. I don't know if they are avalible yet. I can check when I get to work tomorrow and will let you know.

Iridium sounds like a alien planet. Nobody says whoa when you say you have Iridium plugs. They all just look at you funny. I installed platinum. Everyone knows platinum. Bling! Bling! Thanks Autolite, you Pimp'd my ride!

Platinum runs cooler, which will hurt your application. The stock plugs or a regular copper plug will be best.

Speaking of copper plugs.. does anyone know if using copper plugs would work ok for nitrous use?

I don't see why not. I used to use copper plugs in my GSX, running 17-20psi of boost. Nitrous can't be much, if any, harder on them.
