Dumping coolant is a BAD idea.... DO NOT get caught, all it takes is your neighbor to be slightly ticked and make one or two phone calls and then you got fines out the @ss from the EPA and possibly a visit from the SPCA.... Most service stations and oilchange places will takeyour used coolant and oil...

Upper rad hose, the hose contents and some coolant in the head/rad will come out. The lower hose, get ready
BTW, the car has to be cool/cold. Squeeze the hose, if it's hard, don't remove it. I would actually remove the rad cap first, make sure no pressure is in there.

Our neighbor's cat died from licking up coolant. They like the sweetness I guess

Which is weird, because the stuff isn't as sweet as it smells. I got a mouthful of it when I was filling up my computer.

I'm presuming he's doing this to add a engine dress up kit (those silver hoses that go over the existing ones).

i'll take pics when it's done folks.
