Custom made Ralliart Intake
I stand corrected. I would really like to see you come up to this CMU AutoX on 5/22, I plan to have a small BBQ at my house afterwards.
I always like making my own stuff if I can. It pays off in experience even if I have to redo things.

Do somebody know if the turbonator works as they claim. I have a friend that it's an airplane pilot and he told me that it should work because that's is a thecnology that comes from the turbines of the airplanes .

Where did you got them and how much they cost!
The intake is still doing very well. The bypass valve has not cracked yet and seems to be holding up fine. I think the bypass valve will break only if you expect it to support the weight of the tube. In this setup the tubing is supported well.

Wow Joe, nice work! I want to take this project on and would like to ask for a list of parts that you needed to complete it.
A How-to would kick @$$, but a list of the piping (bends and lengths) and bracketing used would be great!!
Thanks.

im from pr speak english pq te clavan.... jejeje
I didn't use any brackets. For lenghths of piping I would say you have to measure on the fly. You will not need any non-standard bends to complete this job. That is the best I would say. I can't give you all the details, because every custom job always has your own flare involved. I am sure you can handle it. I purchased Mandrel U-bends from Ebay and straight piping from a local muffler shop. I hope that helps. A bracket is not really needed if you replace it to the throttle body. If you keep the flimsy rubber stock pipe like the RRM does then you will need a bracket for the upper portion of the intake. My instructions advise you to replace this just to make it a full intake.
Hope this helps!

I made my own bracket with a strong piece of steel that I wrapped around the tube, and attached it to one of the stock intake box bolts. You can kind of see it on my cardomain site below, last page.
Joe, wicked job making your own intake, kudos for sure.
i have the injen cai and mine does the same thing as you describe in your first question #3, that being the cai seems to suck, then turn off, then start sucking again. you said that resetting your ecu changed that? so now it seems like it's sucking air all the way thru the power band?
if that's the case, how do i reset my ecu (sorry for the newbish question, but i've never done that) and has it been beneficial to do that?
cheers,
Ry
