Just pull your negative battery cable for 10 minutes and that will reset the ECU. Then make sure to go drive it hard after that so you give the ECU a more advanced timing map.

oh that's it? cool. so after you did that you found that the intake was sucking in air all the way thru the powerband?

Yes it helped smooth things out a bit, the engine/ecu had to relearn how to suck in air which seemed to smooth things out.
