Question Na Horsepower

Sorry if it was already posted guys, and i did do a search but i couldnt find anything.
But anywayz my question is if it is possible to squeeze 200 hp out of our RAs without getting turbo, and i know it would probly not be wheel hp if we can get 200 hp but if im wrong let me know. I would love to hear that we could get 200 to tha wheels.
Thanx.

Possible. You would basicly need EVERY N/A mod that RRM has to offer and then probably race fuel and you'd be around 200WHP. Don't forget. RRM claims there I/E/piggy combo add 30WHP!! So add about 15% to that number for drivetrain loss and your already at about 200hp. So throw the Downpipe on and then the flywheel to decrease your drivetrain loss (which in turn will add to your WHP number).

I think it is possible.

It'd be tough to hit 200 hp to the wheels... My spec put 177 hp and 174 tq before my downpipe. I should be in the 180's for both, hopefully high 180's, when I re-tune.

You made a post about this not too long ago, so ill just remove that one. And to answer your question, you are gonna have a helluva time trying to get 200 whp with just the mods that are out for our cars now. Throw in some cams, cam gears, rods, standalone ems etc. Cause you arent gonna get even close by just bolting on a header and a cai.

Just like I said in the last thread you made about this - it's not possible with the current mods out there. In the future it will be, once we have cams and a standalone ECU setup. It's possible to get high-compression pistons and new rods right now (you need specific measurements, then call X piston company and they'll send you ones for that size). They'll put you closer with appropriate tuning.

Like I said, if he's got a manual and is looking at getting his drivetrain loss by decreasing his unsprung weight and rotational mass.

simple answer: yes, we can get close now. but expect highcompression pistons and cams to get the job done, and done well. more advanced electronics would also really help

More important then WHP (for me anyway) is the 1/4 mile time. What I can do with the HP is what really makes a difference. With staying N/A how much HP is needed to run 14 flat?

if you port the heads and manifold, reduce the head, polish bore the tb and regulate fuel you can get to it... at least it worked for me....
