I simple just took the intake section of the OEM (the tube peice) and cut it short to direct the airflow into the center of my filter.

I agree, the down pipe is the weakest link in the Ralliart exhaust other than the cat.
You should be able to go to any exhaust shop that does custom work, and have them fabricate a downpipe for you. If you look at our downpipe the first bend coming off the exhaust manifold is terrible. it looks like it was flattened and crimped! I'm sure all those exhaust gasses are getting slowed down right there. You can still use the factory cat or get a hi-flow cat, with this mod you won't get Cel. Good Luck!!!

if your eventually goin turbo, dont get the downpipe, its included in the kit. and the piggy back is good, i had it installed and there is a really nice boost at 3800 rpms... . and if i were you, i wouldnt take your back seats out... its not that big of a difference unless you do a bunch more lightweight modding to your 22,000 dollar family seden, and what if you want a couple of frineds to take a ride to the beach in your nice *** car... that type of modding is only for race cars. not a kid with a nice new seden that goes fast,.... but hey whatever floats your boat , more power to ya, good luck and have fun

I think i've decided to SC rather than turbo, it is more efficient and well i can turn the SC on and off as it has a clutch control, so well that should put the wagon to about 220hp.

I don't think there's anybody else appart from RIPP (from New York)... and right now they only have the A/T version available. Last thing I heard, they still needed a loaner to do some development on the M/T kit...

More efficient?

I'm not lowballing superchargers but i must insist you read my guide on the Superchargers Vs. Turbochargers.

I think it will explain a bit more in depth about the differences.

http://www.generationmivec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10

the Super vs. Turbo section is about 3/4 down the page.

^^ the only thing you forgot to mention is that the SC can be turned off as they use a clutch system, power on = clutch engaged, power off = clutch disengaged, this way you can drive OEM and use the SC when needed rather than running it all the time. thanks fr the info though I think I'm still going to use the Sc though, it is easier and more practicle for my usage.
