the grinding is the gears in the transmition because ur not good at shifting. its not the engine. work on ur techinque and that should go away =)

Hey Joe, what about making matching accessory pullies?

How about accessory pullies..??..Any more thought into this? May free a couple(2-3) hp?? And they would look very nice.

The grinding is caused by engine movement especially when corning. The transmission becomes out of line and the shift is missed.

Exactly why your not supposed to shift during a corner

It can happen when under hard accel. but rarely happens to me.

That's why that engine damper we talked about on the first thread would be great. It would stabilise the engine, thus limiting the potential for missed shifts while also limiting power loss when the engine twists in it's mounts.

I only grind the RA trans when I am not trying to have fun. It takes some force to get it into gear and when I am being lazy I grind it and then it doesn't go into gear and then I do it again and it works fine.

I take that back, I raced some guy and grinded second in the RA. I am sure it was my faulth though and not the car. I will not even begin to tell you how many time the EVO tranny has grinded. Athough more though when I am trying to drive the car easy. When I race/drive it hard the EVO trans is good too.

Talking Pullies are here!

I got the pullies in and hand inspected all of them with no problems! They look absolutely awesome and everyone will be very impressed when they get them.

So far I have received 27 payments and they are all packed up and ready to go. If you want yours to go out tommorow I need your payment by Midnight tonight 8-3-05.

If you get it out to me later than that you still get the same price and it will get shipped within 2 days of receiving the payment unless it is a check/money order that will need to clear. Get your Pulley now!

Thanks.

Flywheels are more difficult. Plus there is already one out there and it would be a lot of R&D work. I don't have a garage so I don't really have a place to do it. I want to see someone else step up and make something, be like Joe! Ok no 3rd person..

Thanks for all your hard work and time!!! I can honestly say that you have the most organized and informant GB that I have ever seen. Very professional. That's why I love these boards so much!
