alright children... i put the manifold in... let me start from the beginning...

i opened up the box and it looked beautiful, even though you guys sent me the wrong decals o well beggers cant be choosers...

installation was a *****, bottom line.... 5 hours long. granted me and my freind aint "certified mechanics" but my buddy knows his imports very very good, and it was still a b*tch to get in...

5 hours later, 11:35 at night i start the 15 minute drive home... that 15 minute drive turned into an hour cruise around south jersey because i had to much fun with it... the gains arent impressive, they are AMAZING. low end, mid, top end... just.... wow... im almost speechless

well for a quick review the gains are great, worththe money, if you guys want more details or a better review, just comment on here and i'll do a better job talking about it i guess....

and Rob. today is saturday, im gonna ship it back to you on monday, just hope you can do me a small favor.... i'll leave my phone number in an envolope, can you guys call me and let me know you put my 200 dollars back in my account or when you's are sending the check to me ( i need the money for an overdue 383 dollar car bill lol)

********** reimundo do you have a link to your registry, i want to see your mods and pics if you have any...

but hey rob, i stumbled on this website on a forum somewhere

http://www.essentialspeed.com/shop/d...y=&cat1=8&cat2

its a bored out throttle body for the ralliart, BUT they are in canada and you have to send them your stock one first, and they do the work to it... i thought you said it cant be done cuz its a fly-by-wire... think you guys still cant make it.. if not, that sucks people in canada can do it but not you guys, cuz i dont think i cant send my stock one there and have my car down for that long... well tell me how you feel about that.. thanks

We said we cannot do it right. Maybe they know something or think they know something. We sent our t.b. to best guys in the U.S. $ no object. THey said it cannot be done right.

has anyone had any success with changing it from the fly by wire back to a cable setup using a different T/B... I realise that there will be a few differences like no more cruise control and idle might be a bit different but I know that I could handle not having cruise control and more h.p and torque, surely a bit of dyno tuning could solve any idle issues if a widerband o2 sensor was needed....

Don't worry Rob! The guys at essential speed DON'T know something you don't. In fact, they don't know ALOT of things. They make promisses on things that they don't have all the info on.

We ALL appreciate the fact that RRM isn't this way. Keep up the good stuff dude.

Don't know how they would do it. We couldn't. And neither could 2 other only places I respect to bore T.B.s in the U.S. They said no way.

Just out of curiousity, what was the reason they couldn't bore it? Not enough extra material, or is there some sensor for the fly by wire setup that would get screwed up?

I think electronics stuff get in the way. Maybe it is the sensor on butterfly shaft.

Not being able to upgrade the T/B certainly alters the way that you can plan to do other substantual N/A upgrades.... I suppose the other alterantive is to get the intake manifold port motched and maybe extrude honing done to get every bit of air flow possible....

Has anyone had any luck with advancing the cam - I had heard that the cam comes with 3 profiles - 2 inlet, 1 exhaust and that these can be adjusted accordingly... is there any truth to this....

From what I have been reading on this forum it sounds like the crank pulley is a must buy I wonder if these guys will ship to the land down under most U.S companies are not interested in helping us out
