o yea by the way, shipped the intake manifold on tuesday, hope you get it soon...

please post up on here when you give me my 200 back please, gotta write a check lol...

within the next 2 months i'll be buying (at the same time)...

tie bar, axxis break pads... and i guess the stupid downpipe... if i absolutly HATE the sound, can i get my money back?

 

It's no big deal if you get a resonator!

Resonator should not make a noticable difference in power. It needs to be welded in. I would recommend having a muffler shop do it before you put on the downpipe. I tried to have one put in awhile ago, and I never found anyone willing to touch my exhaust without a cat on it.

I put a 18" Magnaflow resonator on and, at most, maybe you lose 1-2HP. I had a shop do it after I had my downpipe on, and they made me sign a disclaimer saying it's for off-road use only!!! LOL.

 

ok nice, but does that fix the sound back to its normal throaty sound, or is it just "less ricey"?


also, back on topic... rob i sent that manifold on monday, its been a week, did you get it yet? also, whats up wth that 200 dollar refund, when do i getthat?

 

Not "ricy" at all... sounds exactly the same as downpipe, just with the volume turned down. Car still screams in the 5000-6500rpm range.

 

I tihnk manifold showed up late yesterday.

THANKS ROCK. Got mine installed today and really like the throttle response improvement. Install took me about 3 hours but worth it. I will bring by my core this week and let you check out my install.
