I don't recomend getting a EBAY muffler, most of the time they rot out really quick and sound like ****.

It sounds pretty good actually. It hasn't rotted yet and I will be sure to keep everyone posted. You get what you pay for although it seems so far it has lasted. I was on a budget when I made this exhaust and it wouldn't bother me that much if I had to replace it in a couple of years.

My really cheap or so called cheap Megan Racing downpipe on my EVO has lasted a while now with no problems. It has similar build quaility to this Ebay muffler. If the downpipe has lasted this long right after the turbo I have my doubts if problems will arise at the end of the exhaust system with a muffler. I have installed lots of different exhausts and most of the time unless it is all stainless right down to the flanges/bolts then it will rust at some point. Most Ebay mufflers are made from SS304 which is as good as the Apexi counterpart that costs 4x more. Metal thickness and interior resonance are the biggest differences which is why an Apexi unit may last longer. Either way I would rather save my money.

After speaking with Rob from Roadrace it makes 100% sense why they don't make a CB or even a header. He says he will not rip people off for something that won't gain HP or benefit the car in any other way. As a catback might make more sense he realizes that a large % of RA owners will not go much beyond 4-5 parts for their car and those parts will not push the limits of the stock header/cat-back exhaust.

I got the Magnaflow 14325 Muffler w/ a Magnaflow Double Walled Angle Cut Tip. It sound amazing! our exhaust is good enough for n/a except the downpipe. if you get a cat back exhaust it will just be a waste of money cause you gain nothing but sound. Magnaflow muffler is the best way to go imo for cheap.

Thats what I thought, Are exhaust is farley efficent and the only down side is the downpipe. other then changing that you just going for show correct?
