I got mine installed and just got finished gobbling up about a quarter tank of gas.

Install is easy. Like Joe's instructions say, taking off the splash guard can be a little frustrating. On a scale of 1-10 for technical difficulty I'll give this a 3 or 4. It's pretty simple and straight forward.

As far as power is concerned I noticed a slight increase across the entire rpm range. The most noticable increase is in the low rpm's (1.5k-3k). This is definately pound for pound, or should I say, the best dollar per horse mod I think we have for our RA right now outside of a turbo.

I ran the car really hard for my test drive. I leave for work in about an hour and I plan to drive more normally tonight and in the morning. So I'll give an update on how it feels for a more conservative view later.

I got to re-evaluate the pully today and drive it a bit harder. Also got my front springs installed at my friend Marco's shop (thx for use of the airgun marco!). had to do the install in the rain (again) /w one hand cause the other was holding my umbrella. lol!

anyway, got to take the car from 60-100 in both 3rd and 4th /w the pully a few times. Also did quite a few of stoplight launches and rips throught 1st to 3rd. the torque band all around is MUCH MUCH nicer! Even in the rain when I launced like a sissy, 1st gear barely existed. I had to get to 2nd before I even had a chance to take my eyes off the road and look at the tach. same story in all the other gears. it really picks up in the higher gears after 4500RPMs and carrys to the end of the gear. Getting to 100 to pass cars doing 80mph on the highway is no problem.

marco has a dyno at his shop, but nimo, the mechanic next door was running an srt4 on it and broke the damn thing so i didnt get to run =( ill try to get it to the track and dyno soon to see where i stand =)

either way, buy this! it only costs as much as a few tanks of gas and it will get u chicks. end of story =)

Pulley installed

Hey guys,
I have just installed my today; it has taken about two hours for me to installed this pulley. Because I have lost tract of the belt diagram, I have forgotten how to put the belt back on. Anyway, I took the car out for a test drive; I felt a quicker throttle response through out the power band.

There is a diagram for the belt on the main page of the other thread.... this is what worries me i'm good at taking stuff apart just putting back together is scary.

It's not that hard. I wouldn't sweat it.

Just so everyone knows. I never really knew jack about cars until I got on this forum last year. The only thing I could basically do was change a tire and change my oil. After doing a few things to0 my car now I'm not intimidated to go at it anymore. Especially when there is a write up on the install by someone on here. i've come to trust the peoples opinions on this site when it comes to mods and doing installs.

I've come a long way over the last year. I'm so proud of myself.

Well I got to drive the car normally this morning in Cleveland rush hour traffic. I really do appreciate the extra power in the low rpm's. It made it a lot easier to duck in and out of lanes without having to downshift as often.

i also noticed today that i can stay in gear longer without worrying about the car wanting to stall out. i was able to coast in 1st gear until about 700rpms /wout pushing the clutch in! nice for the bumper-to-bumper stuff in the morning. if anything, the extended clutch life this may buy me will help it pay for it self =)

Careful with that...you'll be on Judge Judy before you know it, with her telling the judge it was a 'gift', not a loan.

Well you always feel the torque although not really the HP. This is a great mod that lets you feel the engiene pull and as shown by the dyno sheeet the gains in torque are more so than the hp. I am sure you gained HP because it would be impossible not to.

Love to hear about all those kills! I am sure you did those at the dragstrip right
