it looks like my ecu learns really slow. every time i put a new mod it takes like 30min to learn. best mod is the intake-manifold 2 piggyback 3 downpipe 4 pulley 5 cold air intake last muffler.
I received the pully last week, and finally put it on today. First a few comments about install.
1. I couldn't get the the (4) bolts loose on the stock pully without using an air gun. The pully would just turn otherwise. And, NO, I didn't loosen the belt yet.
2. I misinterpreted what the directions said and didn't realize that the 1/2" drive actually fits into the belt tensioner without a socket! LOL, you should have seen me looking for a place to put a 1/2" socket... classic comedy here!!!
3. It actully takes longer to remove the splash guards than install pully/belt!
Now that I have drove it around a little, here are my initial impressions. First, the engine does wind up faster, especially in 1st and 2nd. I don't really feel it in the last 3 gears as much, if at all. However, when going up hills in 5th, the car seems to hold it's speed more easily. There's this 3-mile grade I go up every day to work, and today, it seemed, that I could pull the hill much easier in 5th?!
Overall, I wouldn't say it's a dramatic difference, but you can feel it and I do think it's a nice helper mod and worth the $$$.

I received my pulley yesterday and installed both it and my new Injen CAI last nite. I can tell the rpms climb faster than before, and it seems that rev matching is easier. The CAI really culps in the air, sounds alot better than my little short ram. The loss in throttle response by the CAI is made up for by installing the pulley in my opinion. The pulley cancels out the negative effects of the CAI. There is a noticable difference there for sure. With the installation of the intake and the pulley together I feel like theres at least 10 extra horses there. I used the pcv hose inlet on the intake for my nitrous nozzle, i just cut half of it off, tapped it, and screwed the nozzle in. It's like it was made for it, its great. I sprayed it last nite after everything was installed and I could barely keep up with the shifts. Great product Joe, I think your pulley is a must for everyone.
On a side note.. I noticed that our stock pulley has a timing mark on it. The underdrive one does not. I hope that isn't important.
