But isn't that what we all do... offer up our opinions and advice to other users of these forums and other forums and isn't it up to the individual that seeks out which piece of information and advice that seems to be the most validated and logical to act upon.

For me I like to look at all the options that are available - this Club has a remarkable amount of terrific supporters and sure, as club members you are encouraged to shop and support those that support you, but does that mean that if you find a really neat product wether it be for performance or show you should keep that private and not share any new information for fear of offending others because you did not get that hard to find unique product from a club sponsor/vendor.... if this is the case then we/you do not have a freedom of choice and if every thread that shows a new link to that new part should also be deleted and that member should also have there account disabled...

I have been on these forums before but it has only been of late since buying a new car that I have been on this site regularly, as I thought that it could hold a wealth of information on what works and what does not, what looks good and what does not.... I am about to get some major work done to my car very soon and I would like to share my success and my disapointments with the members here but I am hesitant...

sorry for the rant and I apoligise in advance if any of my views are offensive as that is not my intention. I am a 40 year old female that enjoys modifying cars and the freedom of speech, as that is one of the greatest gifts that we have in this era.

Don't get too upset...

I don't want to take this further OT but there used to be rules that if you had a product that was not offered by any Paying vendor on the board that it was ok to advertise. This was to protect the vendors who pay to advertize on this site from competition from un-dues paying vendors. The rules must have been changed somewhere. There have been a lot of rules changes lately and although I am here alot I don't know what they are any more. Rpw does offer alot of products that is not in direct competition with any paying vendor but I guess the ones that do compete must be the reason for the rules infractions.

It doesn't make much sense to me but as you can see I'm not a mod.

Thanks for the support everyone. The good news is that we are back online and with our new partners from Accolade who are paying USA vendors, and have linked themselves with us, we are now able to post at will and are able to answer everyones questions - expect to see a lot of me on the forums now.

You teamed up with Accolade? WHY??

Think you'd have been better on your own... I know i'd never buy anything from them. Did once... wasn't a good experience. Then agian, most on here haven't had good experience with them.

Like anything, they will be on a trial basis with us. If they do not live up to there promises and committments, they will be dropped as simple as that and we will go back to how it used to be.

But I have the understanding that they have a seperate manager working on this part of there business with complete focus on it.

At this stage time will tell but if they have the items in stock, and can be sold then they have done all that is necessary.

yes thats correct I have personally taken charge of the project and it is independent of the body-kit.com "overseas" group.

As I wrote in an earlier thread here I dont expect any issues with RPW parts, Both David@RPW and myself will always be on the boards offering our support.. And our logisitics operation here in Cali is what I pride myself on.. Our mission is to act as the intermediary to import and deliver their parts in a timely and safe manner. To this I commit myself to, and I am ready for the challenge at hand.
