Thumbs up need more mods!

i have a lot of questions about the ralliart,
first and most importantly does anyone really know how much power the 2.4 mivec can handel? did anyone actually take the 2.4 mivec to the limit , with crazy amounts of boost till shes ready to blow?
how many internals is a ralliart going to need to get to around 400-500whp, or can it even get those kind of numbers at all? I mean, i know anything is possible
but it seems like everyone is struggeling just to get a little power here and there.

do the manufactuers know the answers to these questions, and trying to keep them seceret for future sales? like does our cars only benefit from air flow mods because its a mivec? what about fuel flow and ignition, i havent seen any or heard much hype about upgraded fuel rails/lines/pumps/filters etc.. i have seen
some of these things for the oz but not the ralliart. can we modify these parts to our cars or do we need to wait for these products to arive on the market?
i also havent seen anything out there for our ignition systems , would'nt our cars benefit from things like better performing coilpacks or like a whole new msd ignition setup , things of that nature ? theres got to be more out there than just piggy back ecu's.

if anyone out there has any new ideas on how to bring more performance to the mivec please let us all know.

Anyone seen/heard from turbotechPR recently? Last I heard of him was quite a while ago, but his turbo'd RA was making 508hp. I have NO IDEA what all he had done to his car to make it do that. Maybe you could search for his posts..?

EDIT: HERE's the post I was talking about.

Well they have done everything you can imagine to the internals of the mivec engine plus its turbo with all the bells and wistles on it . There was a performance magazine (Super Compacto) that made an extensive report on it. the only problem is that its in spanish . About five to six pages of info about the car .

WOW that is one bad *** setup!
atleast we know these parts are available to us, just not easy to reach without alot of
running around. i geuss you would also have to have an extended knowledge of engien and turbo design to create somthing like that because that is definetly no backyard creation. well he did point out two very impotant factors , that 508hp and 426tq were both on a stock cam and tranny with some help from rrm lsd and motormounts" thats the kind of stuff i like to hear" but we still dont know how much hp the engine can handle bone stock .

ok, if he made 508hp with just rods and pistons do you guys think our cars can handle atleast 400hp on stock internals?

Good luck getting 400 on stock internals for any decent amount of time. I would 8psi is relatively safe; 10-11psi is pushing it so we're probably talking like 300 at the crank.

im wondering then, do you think it is possible to get like 300 to the crank without
any type of forced induction?

300 to the crank should be doable on stock internals. Guess we will find out!
