We had 2 backordered. One is at painter. First guy to order gets that one. Problem is people don't return their cores in a timely fashion.

minimal?

I read there should be mods already done before piggy install. what are the minimal performance mods that should be done before 5-speed piggy?
-Cold Air?
-Pulley?
-the axel back RRm sells?
my car is stock now, shoudl these above be done first?
what grade gas is minimal?
thanks

canada

there was a recall on canadian lancers and outlanders(2.4L engine). something about mapping the ecu for emissions or something. i was told by the dealer this added hp as well.. is this true?
and does the piggy from RRM have any problems being installed on these canadian models? is the hp boost still going to be there?

There is indeed a recall out there. So far, almost every car that went in for the recall started having problems 1 month later. They started having the problem the recall was suppose to fix. My advice to you... forget about that recall, and NO it doesn't add any power to your car.

None, nada, zero, bone stock is good.

The reason people say the more mods the better? The hp gains of the piggyback are quantified in % at the moment. So people do their math:

5hp here + 10 hp here + 3 hp here + 10-15% piggy = whatever I'm happy.

They don't realize that the opposite will get the same result:

10-15% + 3hp here + 10hp here + 5hp here = whatever I'm happy

See my point?

That methodology doesn't apply to everything by the way. See following example:

20psi + forged internals = boom. No more engine to install forged anything in
forged internals + 20psi = whatever I'm way happier than the guy above

There are no probelms on Canadian models. Piggy is great on all the RAs. We even sent some overseas!

Software instructions are there. Load it on laptop and adjust map if you want to change stuff but there is a map already loaded on the piggy. You can run on that.
