Ralliart acting weird

Sup fellas, long time. My car is smelling like burning oil and the radiator fans just keep turning on and off. Even when I shut down the car they keep running a little bit more.

hmm im not easy on my car and fans dont stay on when the cars off.... they fans do go on and off during idle as it should. ive heard that having a hot engine is one of the wost things to have such as when you drive a lot and then park in the garage and having your engine just sit there really hot only cooling down by some air and time. suposedly its a big oven under your hood and corrodes stuff...blah blah i dunno.

Hey, i know why the fan goes on and off. It's a recall the only things they have to do is a replace of the Fan Computer is plug in and out. The problem is, if you don't see it but suddenly the temp goes up and can be painful for your car. Go to your Service Center to check that. Peace.

Short trips and a lot of starting and stopping is the worst, thats for sure.
Thats why Taxi's engines are still great after many 100's of thousands of kilometres (miles too :P) - depending on maintenance and the driver of course, but compared to normal driving for the same km's the engines don't go from cold to driving then to turned off anywhere near as much.
I guess we'll just have to keep driving !!

Same thing happened to me (the fans thing) after i went to a warranty recall. I took the car back and said that it was normal. I have been paying extra att to the temp gauge and had no prob. yet!!
