very true and keep your dam foot off the clutch unless u r shifting all wears your tranny out quick!+clutch

Thanks for the info, did not know this. I rest my hand on the shifter all the time when my g/f is not in the car with me, which is not often...but still a lesson learned, thanks guys.

that is so true, right now my car is at the dealership getting the synchro's replaced for 1st and 2nd as well as 3rd and 4th. Thank god for my power train warranty!

I have 80 shore filled front and rear motor mounts, as well as brass shifter base and under-hood bushings. There is no movement of the shifter. Well maybe if you bring out the micrometer there is, but you definately can't see/feel it.

I have just the base and under-hood brass bushings. I can notice slight movement, but I really don't rest more than a finger on the shifter when I'm driving.
