a couple questions.
1. so can the limitter be removed?
2. and if so do you get more power out of your car.
3. what will this do to improve your engine? ??
someone do explain.. is there an expert in the house?

removing the rev limitor would be a bad idea in our case, we do not have a rev happy toyota or honda, our engine have a very long 100mm stroke vs the 80ish mm stroke hondas have. i know your thinking whats 2cm's allow me to illistrate
at 6500 rpm with a 100mm stroke, the pistsons are moving at 21.667meters per second
at 7800 rpm with a 100mm stroke, the pistons are moving at 26.000 meters per second
at 7800 rpm in a celica gts (2ZZ-GE) with a stroke of 85mm the pistons are moving at 22.1 meters per second
due to the shorter stroke, the engine is allowed to rev higher, and the pistons are still only moving at the same speed, but at the expense of loosing torque.

i dont know about you guys but mine only reved pass 7000 rpms when my clutch was shot, but after the clutch was replaced it couldnt go pass 6800 . its weired i didnt think that would have anything to do with it.

AHHHH I see. thank you for that info.
I tried this and my limiter kicked in about 7200 RPM. This is so wierd that people are getting different numbers. My clutch is fine and the car has 20K. But it easily goes past 7K
