does the 4g69 ever run on 2 cylinders
In the past I have seen it claimed that the 4g69 runs on 2 cylinders at certain times, like when at a complete stop, parked or whenever it's idling. I don't remember what site I saw it on, or if it was reputable, but now I can't find it officially in writing anywhere. The site said that it runs on two cylinders in order to increase fuel economy. It sounds to me like it could happen, it would even be advantageous, but I just don't know. Does anyone know if this is true, or is someone just making this up?
Yeah, its not true. In the last 2-3 years, we've poured over every document, article and scrap of information on the ralliart and I've never seen anything to indicated that it runs on 2 cylanders. That and I'd notice it after driving it for 50k miles.
