It may be late but i actually had to look a word up. Culpability marks the dividing line between moral evil, like murder, for which someone may be held responsible and natural evil, like earthquakes, for which no one can be held responsible.

This thread got derailed. A for as making bolt on cat etc... There is no way to make one to fit all RAs except this way. After that every flange add= greater $. Everyflange means gaskets and bolts and more labor= greater $. You can always weld a cat in ther if you want to.

For 99% of people who modify their cars exhaust a proper High-flow cat would be no big deal. If the system is designed correctly the HFC will only take away 2-3whp. Although for SOME things I feel I don't have to act any better than others. In this case the government has an exemption and rules the land with their exhaust emissions.

For every gallon of gas you consume you put out 5lbs of carbon I believe it is - that is without a cat. With a cat I think it cuts it in half. I do not know about that for sure. I mean the government murders people so why can't I...come on you can't compare such things as that. You guys have a feeling to hold this high regard when it comes to have a catayltic when really if you just ran without it you and me are such a small slice of the pie we aren't really going to hurt anything.

I mean if you want to run a catalytic to quiet your car down that is a whole another reason. But stop feeding your innocent mind this due diligence to run a cataylytic converter. Unless you are an Emission state, then I would say you have no choice. Otherwise, open it up and let it flow.

I definitely want to know how it goes.

Is everything ok Joe? You seem to be a little more on edge with your posts as of late. I'm not poking at you, I have genuinely noticed this and am concerned. Hope all is well.

whoops. definately the wrong word to use. I thought it was more along the lines of accountability. hehe

Joe, I hope I haven't pushed any buttons, if I have I apologize. I don't believe I'm single handedly saving the planet by running a cat. One of the biggest benefits I feel I have is that I'm simply not breaking the law. Again, I don't mean to scold or anything like that. It's competely your call of course and I can see why (even more now) some people have no problems running catless. I just wanted to offer my perspective, as you have. I'd still buy you a beer sooner than punch you in the face.

Personally I agree with Dan, you do what you CAN do to save the environment. Yeah there are other much more harmful pollutants out there... but I dont think that gives you the right to add to it. In retroperspective, I understand what you mean, the upper power is doing it, so we can do it. I just dont feel that is right, however everyone has their own opinions! Much to your own Joe

Kelv

anyways on topic, I'd like to hear how this header is going, let us know when you can

We may make a version with highflow cat later but obviously cost will have to be greater.

Just found my header sitting at my front door tonight at 10:15PM I had gone away for the weekend and left early Friday. Something told me it would arrive after I left and of course they just left it at the front door. Thankfully it was untouched all weekend. Now I look forward to installing it this weekend.

Sweet. Get that puppy installed and let us know! (I'm sure this was your plan to begin with).
