You should be good switching back. The tune was for 89, nothing would have changed with you running higher octane.

i'm guessing there's only a 2-3hp difference though right? (what really matters is the $$ ill save at the pump though)

It won't be any difference if the tune can't take advantage of the better fuel.

Sounds like it could be a possible vaccum issue although if nothing changed under the hood then I doubt it.

I just started having these same momentary pauses as well on my RA which has 68000km. Very strange because it felt like whenever I'm cruising around 2500 - 3000 constant light throttle it feels like I'm just letting off the gas then back on again kinda like a bog. I have resetting twice and same thing. Thought it was my gas tried different grades from 89 to 94 and no difference and even tried gas cleaners. I have had the piggy for about 3 months, other mods include Injen CAI, pulley, exhaust. Strangely enough it went away for about a week last week but now has returned. Also had a recent oil change to see if that helped but same thing as well...

Nothing was changed under the hood. V2 doesn't have to touch anything under the hood, just the cabin. I got a tank of 93 and the issue appears to have gone away.

i use 93 and i dont have problems with it. It was either an installation problem or just needs to be reset.

The issues go away with 91+ gas. Installation was extremely careful, how could that be a issue with the problem going away with high octane gas?

Maybe, or maybe I do not have enough supporting mods?

Just a SRI. I have a pulley awaiting install but no other real power mods... I was thinking about a throttle body but haven't really looked into another performance mod.

I don't see the problem but it is better suited for ROCK to answer.

If you are getting hesitation it is because it is running too lean, I'm almost positive my car is doing this right now because I have the RPW header and downpipe/cat . Higher octane would fix this issue. But I think i'm going to pull the piggyback off just to be safe.
