If it seems like they are having problems, then you MUST have read the problem. So why are you starting a new thread?

What else do they have to say aside from the issue they stated already? Damn the amount of oblivious-ness around here is off the chain...

I'm hoping mine is the lack of supporting mods, although I haven't gotten much of a response here.

No. They don't run too lean for the mods they are designed for which is intake and exhaust. The people having problems are running them with headers which change the air fuel mix. You may need to re-tune it if you go that route.

Read this Thread (Dyno visit ). It will tell you exactly what the problems are. You need to get it tuned no matter what your mods. There are many factors that can effect the Piggy.

Plenty of ppl have the piggy and it works fine without a tune. I'm sure i could get a few extra H.P. if i did it but the car works fine. also seems like some of the people who have had problems are running 89 octane i've had no probs, but am running 93

It's one of those things where you might not realize that you have a problem until you run a wideband on the car or where your car starts knocking badly from running too lean.

Agreed. Just because you *think* your car is running well doesn't mean it is. If you are running an RRM piggy I really think it's in your best interest to get it tuned after installation.

No one is running lean. One guy started the rumor, he called me and I inquired about it. Guess what? He said he had no basis for it except that his friend said it was lean.

No one has ever blown an engine up on a PIGGYBACK, and no one EVER will.

RRM said its a plug and play ecu.. Now u need to set it up? Waz up with that? I don’t get it, Its it one thing or the other. So guys Beware if you gonna buy that piggyback u do need to setup. That goes for all piggyback installs. because if im going to get lean readings im better off without it.... 19 is to lean.

IT is plug and play. Of course 19 to 1 is lean. IF you got 19 to 1 from one of our piggys out of the box then something was wrong with the map or measuring equipment.
