The Injen intake comes with instructions. You should call Injen and ask them to send you a copy. The instructions have a list of all the hardware supplied and needed for installation.

^more like dont go driving in a lake...

You could always invest in an AEM bypass valve if you are really worried.

Though I like the bypass valve, don't bother with it on the Injen CAI, it'll tear it in half.

3. The cai should be fine as long as it isnt submerged in water. splashing it is ok from what everyone tells me. I have a vented hood and it can rain right into my engine bay and this doesnt affect my intake at all.

I was checking out the instructions and it said you did have to take the bumper off....Is it hard to put in the CAI w/o removing the bumper???

Not in the slightest. It's beyond me why they tell you to remove the bumper. At most, you might have to remove the battery.

i have the Injen CAI and i removed the bumper the first time just so i could get an understanding of why they asked. the reason why is cause its difficult the first time to get the CAI in there cause you have to cut a hole that is right underneath your battery to get the CAI in there. if you dont care about the plastic just rip it off the bottom and your good to go. I actually took all of the plastic covering that is under my car off and the CAI is fully exposed. Ive had no issues with water bogging!

I Never took of my tire or my bumper and had no problem getting my intake on at all. Took my about an hour the first time. Now it takes me about 15 minutes.( I change to SRI for the winter.)
