I understand that the HF reduces the sound on the header and d/p but does it also decrease the power that you would normally get out of the header and d/p without the HF?

HF cat will only cut a little bit of top end power off in theory. Guy that have done it reported almost no difference though! Both configs seem to perform about the same.

+1

I've added the HF cat to my header/dp setup and I did not feel any decrease in performance at all. It sounds real nice right now.. it sounds good on open throttle and a nice deep (but low) rumble on idle. I'm still on the stock muffler.

There you go. That confirms it. Simply the best setup for the RA.

Awesome then I will definitely be looking into buying the Header and DP combo w/ the HF sometime after the holidays... Does anyone know what decibel rating these put out with the magnaflow catback? Don't want any issues w/ the local law enforcement

Couldn't tell you the decibal rating off hand, but I believe that's the reason for the HF Cat to reduce overall noise and keeping the boys in blue out of your rear view mirror

You're probably looking at about the same gains as in intake. 10-15 hp possibly 20 w/ headers down to cat-back. Not sure but it's not a major mod just better engine pressure release.

Gains were around 13 h.p. and 15 ft lbs of torque. Very noticable gains and if you have other mods the header /dp is a must to getting the most out of the other stuff you have currently.

Does anyone have a video of the rrm header/dp and catback installed in their cars? I'm interested to hear what it sounds like.

Sound clip with and without our HF cat would be good clips.

It really is 10-15 h.p. We saw it ourselves and customers have contacted up after install with dynos. They are prolly on this board somewhere! 10-5 is an accurate number.
