yes, only header cuz i didnt use the downpipe.

 

i like the sound,what i dont like its that it is very loud. This week im installing a magnaflow, ill try to take a vid to see how it sound. Hope its not louder.

 

if you're running a stock exhaust and upgrading to a magnaflow... it will get louder... but nice and deep as well

 

I already have an OBX free flow muffler ( gredy evo 2 replica)

 

IF they are round can mufflers, they will not sound deep. You will get a ricey rasp when Mivec kicks in.

Hey thanks, i couldn't really notice a difference in noise with just the header, for some reason i expected the header to be really loud

 

You would more expect the difference to come from the downpipe

ohh trust me it gets really loud.

 

i dont have the downpipe so i guess thats why its so loud, i have straight 2.5 exhaust pipe.

WTF????? i installed the magnaflow and now its louder and alot of raspyness, Ill try to get a vid for nxt week.

 

same exact thing happened here.. i almost regret putting in a catback exhaust but some people told me that if I'm planning to get another cam or a piggyback that I would need to change out the catback in order to get the full gains from those mods.

anyone know how much of a sound difference a tip would make? It sticks out a good 3 inches after the muffler ends. I'm thinking of taking it off to get that sleeper look back a little.

back on topic, header and downpipe sound awesome with a hi flow cat but it will get super loud after you swap out the catback exhaust. guy at the shop said he'd never heard a four banger this loud even with the resonator in.
