Chevron Techron - so far so good

Just threw in a bottle of Chevron Techron concentrated fuel formula ($8.99 for a bottle) with my recent refuel. Noticed several changes:

(1) Idle is smoother (less vibration)
(2) Cold start is not as noisy
(3) Getting about 2 more mpg

So far so good.

I'm not too keen on fuel injector cleaners. How often should we use it and is it only for old cars or good for new cars as well?
