Evo Awd
hey guys i kno this guy that has a 2005 Evo that he doesnt drive anymore well he cant since he got tboned well anyway the car is just sitting at his friends shop and i was thinking of swapping out the 4G69 for the 4G63 and making my car diff then everybody elses and doing the AWD yes i kno its gonna be expensive but i dont have to pay for parts cause its a whole evo that i can take parts now i dont want people coming on here and being like it cant be done cause i kno it can with some fabrication anything is possible
Holy punctuation batman.
So this person is just going to let you tear apart an Evo for free? I'm doubtful about that. Also, I'm sure it can be done, just not sure if it should be done. Make sure you have a very talented welder/fabricator working with you.
And if the parts are free, dibs on the Recaros.

the awd has been discussed. their is a version of the outlander that shares our motor, so i thought it be easier to swap out their AWD into out cars, but im told their probably isnt enough room under our cars, might go for the evo awd system too id think.
remember guys... the evo above all is a lancer.. if you look well you will see the awd mounting points, even for the rear end and the gas tank
i say if you have it go for it
