Noticed that in traffic my throttle cable gets stuck at like 1100 RPM's. Then when i stick my foot under the pedal to pull it back up it lowers back to idle.. anything i can toss on the cable to loosen it up? Lube or anything?

 

Engine oil would do fine. Unhook the cable from the pedal position sensor behind the headlight and make sure it's the cable, first.

 

Well since i don't have the stock intake box the cable just hangs there.. its not touching the engine or anything, but its damned close to it... Also that mount coming off the radiator area that holds the front-most portion of the cable seems to be salt corroded.. i'ma wash it down and give it a scrub to see if it ate through the rubber or anything.. worse comes to worse i'll fab up a bracket to suspend the cable higher off the enginer or something... Use a zap strap.... I think I attached mine to the rad hose where the insulator is.

 

yea that's where i had it before, maybe i overtightened the zip tie?
