hood hood bush problem!!! HELP!!!!

ok so i am doing my very first performance mod now to the RA and all the shift bushings are on but the small under the hood....... the old bushing ripped apart and left the brass sleeve on the pin and now it just won't come off...... vice grips, rust breaker, alittle heat from a heat gun but nothing has worked yet how do you get brass off of a steel pin????

PB blaster and just let it soak. Taking it off with vice grips will probably just make the problem worse, since you could crush the brass collar on there. If that doesn't work, cut it off with a dremel or similar rotary tool. Or you could try to wiggle a screwdriver in under the collar and see if you can carefully pry it up.

+1 on the PB Blaster. That stuff works wonders on frozen bolts.
