Got a new clutch, quick question

I just got my car back a couple hours ago with a new clutch. Now, I dont know if any of you have driven the new 5spd lancers but my clutch in my RalliArt feels just like it. Its really easy to push in as opposed to what it was before, a little stiff.

Am I just being paranoid? The clutch was a little bad when I got it (mistake on my part), the previous owner sucked at driving so I wouldnt know what a good clutch would feel like on our cars.

That's what most, or all, people say after having their clutch replaced with another stock unit. I think it's because the new throwout bearings slide more easily on the shaft.

Hm... I'm getting my Works Stage 1 clutch installed in a couple of weeks. My clutch is pretty bad right now. Guess its bad when you downshift and it doesn't slow down too fast....

The dealer ****ed me over so I had them pay for the labor. =p

Why would you downshift though when you know youve got a bad clutch? You dont need to downshift to stop (sure it helps and saves your brakes). Especially if its not doing much to begin with, its just hurting it more lol.

Well I don't downshift anymore. I'm not an idiot FYI.... I stopped when I started noticing the wear in the clutch.
Sucks that you got raped by the dealer, but a clutch is a wear/tear item regardless unless you were within the X,000 miles for the clutch warranty.

Heh, with turbo ... how dare you do that to a turbo'd R/A.... must replace clutch asap... or I will have to take your abused vehicle off of your hands. You know, like child protective custody.

Sounded like you still did it. =/

Yeah all I had to pay for was the parts, it was like $342 and change. They also replaced the synchros for 2nd to 3rd. I bought it used like a retard but Ive learned my lesson.
