im new to this stuff so was woundering if it does work we dont have to be turbo'd right

 

ECUflash is a program used to flash the rom's on your ECU, thus modifying your ECU. So no you don't have to be turbo'ed for this, though I guess it can't hurt... For my purpose I'm N/A and plan on giving this a shot someday.

 

ECUflash is really only going to be an option (if it can be made to work) for NA Ralliarts. Our ECU doesn't have the mapping required to handle a turbo, since it would need two seperate fuel tables (one for boost, and one for off-boost.) The base Lancer guys w/turbos ran into the same problem.

 

so someone gunna sum this really short thread up? did u test it and it work or did it fail miserably?

not gonna happen. the people at tactrix are working on it for free, the only other people I know about are on here and have put in their .02 already. if the people at tactrix can't do it for free they may be willing to spend more time on it if we come up with money, but $1 each isn't going to cover the cost by a long shot

me too, but I got tired of waiting for the sun, moon, jupiter, and your anus to align so someone would figure this out this 65$ ecu is the most money I can reasonably afford to throw away, so that's my contribution to the RA community. I wish I was rich, but then again I wouldn't be on here if I was

 

lol I love my Ralliart but I wouldn't have picked it up if I was rich but its all good for now as it does better on gas than my last car, is there anything others like me can do to help out or is the extra ecu was all that was needed
