No have not replaced the car yet with a Evo 7... the original engine had the misfortune of doing a piston in and it was far cheaper for me to replace the engine than to put in new pistons and rods... also there was the issue of not being able to get the car legally complied for road worthy... the car had been tested for this and everything was ok but there is only one company that will do the emissions test and they charge $3k for the first test and $1800 for each test after and they informed us that the car would fail the first time. ( bit of a rip off really any other state in Australia charges less than $150.
So now I have a pile of metal bits sitting in the office that are about to make there way to a scrape dealer.
