Ticking sound after doing timing belt

Well as the title states, I recently did my timing belt, balance belt, accesory belt and waterpump this past weekend. I had the help of my friend's shop to do all the work and it wasn't so bad. It did however take me about 2 hours just to get the cam gear cover off since majority of all the pulleys on the accessory belt must come off. On top of that I didn't see one last bolt on the cover and went to give it a nudge to remove the unit and the housing snapped, but I managed to glue that unit back together. One thing I found interesting with the cam gear cover is that it has a built in harness that plugs into a sensor when installed.

Anyways back to my problem... The car is running fine at idle, no putters, no hesitation nothing, idles just like before. However once I'm in any gear and above 2500 rpms there's this rattling/ticking sound of something metallic hitting metal. It only happens once I'm in gear and on top of that it only happens when my foot is on the throttle (enough to just keep steady at whatever speed i'm going at as long as its above 2500 rpms). While doing all of this I don't notice any problems with the engine rpms and the pull of the car is steady and as it was before i did the job.

Since I can't reproduce the sound when the car is sitting still (needs to be in gear) I can't isolate the sound, however when I romp on the gas the ticking/rattling gets faster however the car runs and pulls fine.

I'm thinking its a loose bolt rattling around but i was under the assumption that if that were to be the case it would rattle when i manually revved the engine from the throttle unit?

Quick review on the timing belt job:
- Parts were purchased from RussellM from mitsu parts . net (Great service, fast shipping and he was very helpful, I fully suggest him)
- I replaced the Timing belt, Accessory Belt, Balance Shaft Belt, Timing Belt Tensioner and the Waterpump (with gasket/o-ring)
- Took a total of 7 hours to remove and reinstall everything. Only problem we had was the cam gear cover.
- I was using a lift so the work was 10x easier on my back
- Having an impact gun made things a bit easier to remove parts but I wouldn't suggest ever using one on reinstallation, I hand installed all the parts using rachets and torque wrenches.
- Overall the car runs fine except for this weird situation which might be my stupidity with a loose nut. I just have to find some time to tear into the engine again and identify it.

Thanks for reading.

EDIT: Problem fixed.. the Zacklee Torque Dampener was hitting the bracket it mounted to, The rubber inside it is completely ripped apart, looks like i'ma have to cut it out and put some new stuff in when I do my motormounts.

Glad you figured it out. Just saw this now, but my first suggestion was going to be to recheck any motor mounts you disconnected.

Yea thanks for being too late otter... haha jk

Not I just have to fill my motormounts and repot the zacklee engine dampener with the same stuff i'm filling the mounts with. Only problem is I need to find some time and a place to leave my car on jackstands for a couple of days and a warm streak of clear weather so i can ride the honda to work. I hate riding in the rain, no matter what rain gear I wear I still get soaked, that and the with all the idiots on the high ways now-a-day I prefer the best conditions to ride.

The summer of maintainence has just started....

Also just a note when if anyone opts to do the timing belt... wear safety glasses, all the rocks/sand/etc on the wheel well falls off when you're working on the car into your face if you're on a lift or even under the car. Sucks when you can't rub your eyes cause your hands are covered in coolant/guck and you can't see.

Another tip make sure you remember where all the bolts go, if it helps take a sharpie with a fine tip and just put a number next to each bolt and the hole it goes into, woulda made my life 10x easier had I done that instead of playing guess and check...
