The tech manual specifically says in bold "Do not pump clutch while bleeding".
Proper way is to fill the reservoir. Open the bleeder valve. Push clutch down an hold. Close bleeder valve. Let off clutch. Repeat.

Update:

1. Our CMC is a ***** to get out.
2. The Evo 8 CMC is a cinch to install.
3. I need to do some more bleeding before I take it for a test drive. Started pouring in Boston.

It fits, but you have to make sure you use a banjo bolt (that goes to CMC, and you need both of the washers as well or else you WILL get air in there) from the Evo clutch line. It's different in length from the RA banjo bolt, at least on the one I had.

Some more bleeding when I get home then off for a test drive.

So basically you need to use the evo 8 banjo an washers correct? The upper clutch line is ok right?
