The Evo clutch line should be good to go. I have a stainless steel clutch line so I won't be testing but it seems to mate right up no problems.

Update.

This banjo bolt is whooping my ***. Coupled with my big hands means extremely frustrating time. Will wrap up tomorrow and perform sure fire bleed technique.

The stupid mistake I did is put it in the CMC b4 I put in the banjo bolt.....May have to take it out again. Oh well at least I get to adjust my clutch .

Tips - I'd highly recommend using the Evo banjo bolt for both the CMC.

Update: Fully installed, bled, and clutch adjusted. I recommend to all with aftermarket clutches to adjust your clutch, it makes a big difference. First impression, my clutch pedal feels way way heavier. It feels way more direct vs the RA CMC. I haven't given it a full test yet but so far so good.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with little mechanical skill. It requires some macguyverism and LOTS of patience b/c you most likely will get frustrated. I used GDS tips for bleeding and the Haynes manual tips for bleeding and was able to do it by myself.

My only concern with that would be how it mates with our clutch lines.

When i installed my lower line i found there was still a little air in the system. One thing i did to help it out is to adjust the clutch out a little more than you would normally have it an bleed it.(counterclockwise) After doing that it seemed to me like i could get more air out of the cylinder. By doing this i was visualizing in my head the cylinder being able to push all the way in an push the air out. I dont know how much truth there is to this but it seemed to work.

There def is truth to that.

I has the SS upper line, and If I'm correct that fairly similar to the evo SS line minus the bottom fitting.

So I've put about 10 miles on the Evo 8 CMC...

1. It's much more suited for an aftermarket clutch, it seems to want to push the heck out of the brake fluid.
2. Overall shifting is much much easier. Got rid of quite a bit of the notchy feeling.
3. I now don't have to worry about leaky/exploding plate.

Dont want to give you worry but when i finally got mine sealed a while back it snapped my clutch fork. I hope this does not happen to you. If you hear a pop an no pressure then that what happened.
