Cold air intake (NA Ralliart)

I know this is the evo x forum, but i figured i might get a better answer here. I have a 2004 RA and im looking to buy a cai. Is this one a piece of crap or is it worth buying. I dont want to spend alot of money. Give me a little feed back thanksss alot

These are good if u arn't wanting to run any other parts with it. I had this one B4 i got the AEM intake and it won't work with rrm"s piggyback or anything else because the intake tube is wider than the stock airbox...givving the cars computer false air readings. I did have a sweet power increase with this alone but it doesnt work well with other parts the A/F ratio gets thrown off too much. If u want to save yourself alot of trouble down the road just buy the Aem or Injen intake as their intakes taper down to stock size. Although it will work with parts like rrm"s pully.

cheaper the intake, the more codes it'll throw lol. To be honest, my check engine light has been on like a month after i bought my lancer 6 years ago. dont bother me none.

Again, a brand name intake. Injen and aem are so far the only well known intakes for the cars that work without throwing codes due to the correct piping size
