Just curious gonna throw in a diff engine and trans in my '04 RalliART kinda curious the easiest way to pull it all as one piece easiest and fastest pulling out threw the top or the bottom? I'll take pictures and make a few whole how-to's.

 

If your going to pull the whole thing the best way about it is to loosen the tranny from the motor then pull the motor then the trans.

 

can't I pull it as one without splitting them apart and pull out bottom of car?

 

I seriously doubt it. The front cross member will get in your way.

 

As one easiest is through bottom but you will have to remove quite a bit of things..

 

Curious, what engine you swapping in?

 

You should be able to get them out through the top as one piece (few years ago we were able to get a engine/trans out of an Evo without separating them) it's a pretty tight fit, though. You'll basically have to setup your hoist to angle the trans side really low and pull it out diagonally. However, it'd probably save you some headache to do them separately. Trans through the bottom and engine through the top.

 

Great thanks for all the posts. As for the swap my input shaft bearing went out on me I'm coming up on 140k . So 4g69 to 4g69 lol I found another 4g69 with 33k :-ő actually a whole car. I lucked out now I have 2 ralliarts. I will be selling stuff soon when I get enough ppsts if any one is interesTed let me know. Anyways for the swap I'm also doing, sorry not for this section (zex full wet 50 shot nos.) , ŕŕm sri, ŕŕm udp, high flow cat. I'm on car domain look up kayouu. Had my ralliart. for. A few months and I llove it its the sickest ralliart in town. now I got the other one on sat after work.

 

Lucky .... Well kind of I wish I could find another ralliart totaled out for a decent price I find the es left and right ...

but be sure to take pics and post them up we need more hands on pics etc.
