Ok, the guy at the local auto parts store says it's called a Dowel pin and that probably the only place I can get it is from a dealer (I can't find it anywhere online), so I'll check the local dealer after the weekend.. Anyone know whether Dowel pins need to be pressed in or should I just be able to tap it in with a hammer?

You can find them at a true value / ace hardware store really cheap like 25 cents...

Dowel pins are a tight slip fit into an accurately reamed hole. When new you can push or gently tap them in. If you are trying to remove and a bit of corrosion has formed, give it a blast of penetrating oil and twist out with vice-grips or pliers.

I haven't made it to the hardware store yet, but I'm sure they will have it. I painted up my oem headers and oil pan with some high heat paint and am still waiting for the motor mounts from RRM. The oil pan didn't have a gasket, only sealer.. Is that normal or should I get a gasket for it when I put it back on? I think a gasket is like 13 bucks from advance auto parts.

No gaskets for our cars. Only sealant. I can bet you 200$ that the only thing you'll fing in the ''gasket'' box will be a tube of sealant :P

Haha.. I had a feeling that was the case... The best sealant for the job would be?

Am I right in saying this is the clutch release bearing? The grease left on it is old and dried up.. i'm assuming I should probably slab a healthy amount of fresh grease on there?

Ok, everything is put back together and all fluids filled. The clutch feels like t isn't engaging for some reason.. When the car is off it goes into gear but when it is on I can't get it in gear at all.. Anyone know what may be causing this?

Bled the slave cylinder and it works perfectly. Taking the new engine out for it's maiden voyage now.

Thanks guys. Yeah it feels awesome! Even better than my old motor, and I think the solid mounts really make a difference. I'm so glad I decided to replace the motor rather than to junk the car. Now I need to start modding! First will come a lip and hood though I think because my stock lip is broken and my hood has a bad rust spot.
