Piggy Back Help!?
So just installed, everything seemed normal, did everything correctly.
At first it was sluggish throughout any gear at any RPM, that went away.
I am currently @143.5 miles with the piggy....
it accelerates great then 4.5k rpm comes up and i lose power...but once i get passed 5k, it seems to go back to normal, but seems like it still has less power than what i had before the piggy.
Is the ecu still learning?

The ecu should have fully learned within like the first 20 min of driving. What you could do to check things out is install the software to a laptop and plug thr laptop into the piggy and check the values. Check don't change and see it there is any crazy numbers in there. Are u getting a cel when u lose power?

err.. not sure if it matters any but did you let the car sit and idle for 10 min to learn itself, before it learned about you on your 20 min test drive? You should pick up a usb to db9 cable to start seeing what the piggyback/your car is doing
What supporting mods do you have installed with the piggy? the result may vary depending on whether or not you have an udp/i/h/e/dp installed

* sigh *
I suggest you spend some time reading all the reasons why piggybacks do not and never did work properly on these cars. I've made many technical posts about it. The ECU will never stop learning but if you get a scanner and watch the longterm and shortterm fuel trims you might be able to "tune" the piggback so they're not constantly hunting around.

We would love to get in touch with a Mitsu show in AZ. I had a contact a while ago but he has vanished.
