What the hell is this?

I looked under the car because I could hear some weird noises and I came across this. Looks like a cylinder and it turns. There's 2 in the front just behind the bumper.

one thing i noticed, between my car and RalliartN's car is that with the blox front engine mount, his idle vibrations were a tad more pronounced, than mine, and i believe he had removed his....how heavy are theyn for those that removed them?

Maybe 2 pounds each nothing that's going to bump up your 1/4 mile time, but every little bit helps. They are there to help with vibrations but removing them isn't really even noticeable +/- .

When I first took them out I had a Honda friend that told me they were there for the airbags, he said that of they got crushed the airbags would go off needless to say I didn't even let him help me change my oil

I had taken them out also a long time ago. I dunno about their exact weight but they sure do feel more than 2lbs each.

No noticeable change in vibration after taking them out. Just more crap of the car to put up in the pile of stuff taken out
