help with the Craighardy panel!!!

I just installed the CH panel the other day. I love the look of the panel in the day time but at night when i have my lights on, light comes out around the knobs and the buttens. Does anyone have the same problem? is there any way of fixing this? at night it looks like a cheep install i must fix this. thanks for the help!!

you could take the panel back off, and putting a rubber "weather stripping" around the hole where the knobs would go in. you could put the rubber on the inside of the panel so it wouldn't be seen. and then put the panel back on and put the knobs on and you wouldn't be able to see any light coming out. I don't have the panel but its just the first and best idea to come to my mind.

Please post to let us know how it goes. If it works out well I might have to try it too.

Yep, pretty much the same. Mine isn't quite as pronounced as yours is on the directional vent knob, but it looks almost identical to mine on the temperature knob. I also have a little bit of light poking through around the center buttons. It does'nt look horrible, but it'd be much nicer if I could get it to look like OEM.

I took a black permanant marker and went arount the inside edge where it was Dremeled down. That solved most of the light issues for me and it didn't cost a thing.

thanks.... i was think of starting out the say way, then adding something to the back of the panel if that didn't do the trick.
