put in new head unit but have a problem.

Ok Before i installed this head unit the a/c unit was lighting up at night but now after the install today at night when you turn your lights on the a/c light doesnt not come on and i cant see the a/c panel at night. I dont know if its a coinsidence or i just havent noticed it yet because i havent driven it at night but the mph gauge is black and the rpm gauge is half light up. HELP!

Ok, first thing, Check fuses...Probably isn't a fuse, but it never hurts to check. Put your OEM radio back in and see if the problem continues.

I'm not firmiliar with clarion, but I'm pretty sure it has RCA sticking out the back of it, make sure the metal on the rca connections aren't touching anything.

IMPORTANT: on the harness, there should me atleast an Orange wire, and my an orange wire with a stripe in it. If you connected them, make sure you have connected them correctly. I've seen some companies switch up what those different colors mean. One is illumination, one is dimmer....It is not the same.

Have you plugged the OEM radio back in? Try plugging it back in and seeing if the problem keeps up. If you don't care, disconnect and cap off the ends. Can you PM me a pic of the "behind the dash"? I'm a visual person. (watch it be something easy that when you take the pics we both are gonna look at it and go "Ohhhhh yeahhhhh"lol)

im having the same issue, and i know all my connections are correct. the only thing that i left out was the wire that ran along the antenna wire. Could this be my problem and your problem?
