Ive never had any issues with driving it daily. Once you get used to the rev happy of it you adjust.

I have a stock TOB if you are looking for one. Parts for sale

BTW -- I had what sounds very similar to what you are stating. The true issue for me was that my TOB clutch sleeve (I think that's what it is). The piece that the TOB actually slides on was grooved and my TOB was not seating all the way down.

BTW -- I have the Aasco Al lightened flywheel as a DD for over 6 months and have put over 6,000 miles on it and all is fine.

oh, racer said he replaced the input shaft bearing, but when you put the transmission back together, you need to take the shim(s) out and put solder in its place, torque the differential case/bell housing together, then pull it apart and verify the solder was squished to the same thickness as the shim you are using, within spec...

Oh gotcha. Well the car is in the shop now so they will figure out the exact issue. Also installing the master cyl I got today.

Didn't think I had to since all I was changing was a bearing

Edit #1 I thought you only did that when you changed gears/ went to a LSD

you have to split the case to replace the input shaft bearing...any time to split the case, the shim needs to be verified...
