Rev. problem

hey guys 2 days ago my 2006 4g69 started to cut while driving, rev. problems also started to show up

There is a CEL on the dash lit up. Since it's an 06 and when the rev goes all crazy its when mivec engages. Maybe it is having issues engaging? But check the code to see what it is.

Side note: That is a lot of miles...wow...

No codes except for the auto. ECU on manual trans.
It's not actual millage, I got this clusters in KM/h instaed of my original showing in miles.. actual miles should be around 50K

wait... this actually runs a car? might want to get the proper ECU for the car first.

unless the ECU is what's throwing the code your car is throwing some sort of code cause the CEL is on

I'm using this ECU for more than 3 yrs now, no problems at all.
The only code am getting is P1751

update: Finally it showed P0300-Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

Replacing the plugs should cure your 0300..

The P1751 I have never encountered before....

Second the changing of plugs, mine was having trouble revving past, threw the misfire code, and i changed the plugs, now its been running fine.

check list for tomorrow:

- Faulty spark plug (s)
- Faulty ignition coil (s)
- Ignition coils harness is open or shorted
- Ignition coils poor electrical connection
- Clogged or faulty fuel injectors
- Injectors harness is open or shorted
- Injectors poor electrical connection
- Improper spark plugs
- Insufficient cylinders compression
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- Intake air leak

the P1751- Make specific (Transmission) is due running manual trans. on auto. ECU
